Very spacious holiday home in Hermigua

The spacious and well-kept holiday home "Katya" in Hermigua welcomes its guests with a large furnished terrace and a charming flower and herb garden. The murmur of the sea and the spectacular views of the neighbouring island of Tenerife and the Teide. Surrounded by banana plantations, up to four people will find peace and security, in the immediate vicinity the beach of Hermigua, as well as to the nearest restaurant or grocery store.

The accommodation "Katya" has been renovated recently and has clean and comfortable facilities. The two separated sleeping rooms have comfortable double beds and both with adjacent bathroom with shower. Heated towel bar pampers you with preheated towels. The large closets offer plenty of space even for a longer stay.

The living / dining room is furnished with a chest of drawers and a round table with four chairs. Right next to it the fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired – even a dishwasher is available, as well as a small espresso machine.

Direct access to the terrace and garden from the kitchen, dining room and one of the two bedrooms.

If required, we can also send you a non-binding offer for a good and cheap rental car.

This apartment was perfect for my sister and I. It has 2 beautiful bedrooms with full bathrooms, kitchen and the highlight is the outside sitting area and garden. Very well maintained in a perfect setting.

It is a very nice and quiet place, where you can truly have a calm holiday. The garden is very beautiful and you can have all meals outside on the terrace with a incredible view. Everything was very clean and in a good shape. The only thing which I wished to have, was more of the necessities such as pepper, herbs etc. as we had to buy everything. The dishwasher and washing machine didn’t work, but the host replied immediately and tried to find a technician for us very quickly. All in all we had a great stay and would book again. :)

Hemos disfrutado mucho de esta bonita casa canaria y su jardín con magníficas vistas. Apreciamos mucho la tranquilidad y el silencio que se respira. Por suerte tuvimos arriba vecinos muy respetuosos. Gerlinde fue muy eficaz para ayudarnos con un problema que hubo con los colchones. Gracias! Pasamos alli unos días estupendos de descanso.

Calm place with fantastic view over the sea

Cozy stay well located in Hermigua. The location has an absolutely fantastic view over the sea and u can even see the Teide summit on a sunny day. The place is very calm and u will love waking up with such views, and the fresh sea breeze running up the mountain. It’s reasonably close from the Garajonay national park, which is an absolute must. We strongly recommend this place for families looking for a cozy stay in beautiful La Gomera. The only drawback is that there is no parking place in the property but u can easily find a place to park some 100m away and then walk. Everything worked out well except for the communication with our host, who often missed our messages or answered with delay.

Lovely garden, but no more sun after 12:00 pm. Walking distance to the supermarket and seaswimmingpool. Beautiful surroundings to make longer or shorter hikes.

Location in Hermigua

Holiday home "Katya" is located in the district "La Castellana" in Hermigua at the bottom of the main street. The car can be parked just a few metres away in the public parking area. The house itself is in the grounds of the owner, which is however rarely used by them. It is surrounded by its beautiful garden and the adjacent banana plantations.

It’s only about an 800m walk to the beach, to the nearest restaurant or to the supermarket.

There are at least two hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. A trail leads along the beach via Lepe to Agulo and from there over the red steep wall to the viewpoint "Mirador del Abrante". In the other direction you can take a hike to the neighbouring valley, over El Moralito and El Palmar to "Playa de la Caleta", it’s a very nice and comfortable tour.
