Original Casa Rural in Hermigua

The two Casa Rurals are located in the lower valley of the green Hermigua, 350 meters above sea level. In this privileged, quiet hillside location you can enjoy the incredible views of the sea, Mount Teide and a gorgeous mountain panorama. In the morning the houses of "EL Serrillal 1" and "EL Serrillal 2" get the light of dawn and in the evening you can see the fascinating colours of the sunset over the Teide. Warm yellows, papaya, orange and terra with white accents are the colours of the two houses.

An island of tranquillity, rural and old terrace fields. A five-minute drive to the centre of Hermigua, where you will find a health centre, pharmacy, banks, hairdressers, supermarkets and restaurants surrounded, yet only 2,5 km to the beach.

The area is also a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. All you need at the front door.

Casa Rural "El Serrillal 1"

The entrance to the beautiful holiday house "El Serrillal 1" is located just opposite the magnificent panoramic terrace, where a large canary palm tree donates shade. A perfect place for a hearty breakfast with tropical fruits, or to dream in the evening hours.

The interior of the house is bright, friendly and appealing. In the open living room you will find a comfortable sofa bed (if applicable for a third person), and satellite TV with foreign programs, as well as a table with four chairs. The fully equipped kitchenette with 2 plate stove, coffee machine (german and spanish), a large fridge-freezer, toaster, etc.

Next to the kitchen, off to the left is the bathroom with shower and a small daylight window.

On the right side, a staircase leads to the large, open bedroom on the first floor. The bright, airy room with a lovely balcony is decorated, has a comfortable bed, and offers a friendly, sunny atmosphere. Ideal for relaxing holidays.

On the balcony, is a table with two chairs and a sunbed, where you can relax with a wonderful view. In this beautiful holiday house days are idely spent evenwith a good book - just so.

Overall a very pleasant house with a nice atmosphere to relax indoors or outdoors.

Bereits zum zweiten Mal haben wir einen ganzen Monat im Casa Rural Serrillal 1 verbracht und wieder waren wir begeistert. Ruhig gelegen, mit grandioser Aussicht auf Meer und Berge hat es alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Die Wohnung ist nicht nur geschmackvoll eingerichtet sondern ist geräumig und verfügt über eine zweckmässig und praktisch ausgerüstete Küche. So haben wir im Ofen immer wieder frischen Fisch gemacht, den wir in San Sebastian (Pescarai, oder Supermarkt) nach einem Ausflug gekauft und in der Kühltasche nach Hermigua transportiert haben. Auf der grossen Terasse haben gefrühstückt, auf den bequemen Liegestühlen gelesen und die vielen Vögel und Echsen in der Nähe beobachtet. Hermigua eignet sich auch hervorragend für tolle Ausflüge und Wanderungen, auch der Park Garagonay ist von hier aus schnell zu erreichen, wie auch viele sehenswerte Orte auf Hermigua. Und hat man eine Frage oder braucht Hilfe, so steht Aida zur Verfügung.

Übrigens danke noch für den Essenstipp vom El Faro. Wir fanden den Fisch und Salat sehr lecker, so dass wir dann sogar zweimal dort essen gingen.

Maison confortable et propre, bons équipements (super literie), emplacement calme avec une belle vue.
Attention aux nombreuses marches (126)pour y accéder, il faut être (assez!) en forme.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Für 2 Personen ist die Größe der Wohnung super ausreichend, sauber, ruhig (an den Hahn gewöhnt man sich) und vor allen Dingen herrlich helle Räume. Genossen haben wir am meisten das morgendliche Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit diesem gigantischen Blick. Die 125 Stufen steil zum Haus hoch tragen zur Fitness bei.

Danke an das Canarianfeelingteam für die Organisation unserer "Last-Minute-Anfrage". Super Service! Wir hatten eine Unterkunft auf Teneriffa (pauschal) gebucht und haben uns dort gar nicht wohl gefühlt. Also sind wir kurzerhand nach La Gomera ausgewichen. Deutlich besser! Serrial 1 in Hermigua war eine prima Alternative. Den nächsten Urlaub buchen wir wieder auf LaGomera. Und natürlich gleich über Canarianfeeling.

Location in Hermigua

The both holiday homes "Serrillal 1 + 2" are located in the district of "Ibo Alfaro" about 3 km from the village centre, above the road on a hillside. A stairway of about 50m leads up to the houses. The car can be parked just a few metres away on the street. The view from the house looks over the village to the lower and upper valleys, to the sea and over to Tenerife. The village centre is located below the house. It takes about 25 minutes by foot, by car it’s about 3km. Most locals live in this area and thus you can enjoy the typical Gomeran flair.

The next trail to La Palmita starts right at the doorstep.
